A miniature Dutch bureau reimagined as a personal jewellery cabinet. Its richly figured façade, drop-front writing slope and serpentine drawers bring the language of traditional cabinetmaking to an intimate scale.
Description
A diminutive bureau with an unexpectedly generous purpose. The hinged fall-front opens to reveal two small inner drawers, a central compartment and a polished work surface for arranging treasured objects. Two shaped drawers below accommodate rings, watches and jewellery, with the lined compartments giving this little piece the character of a private dressing-room cabinet.
