Fabrics, Finishes & Swatches

At KIRSANOV, we believe the selection of materials should be an integral part of developing a piece of furniture, rather than a separate shopping exercise.

Through our international network of specialist suppliers and workshops, we have access to an extensive selection of upholstery fabrics, fine leathers, natural textiles, timbers and decorative finishes. Where something particular is required, we also have the resources to identify and procure materials beyond our established collections.

For this reason, we do not operate a general swatch mailing service. Material selection is undertaken personally as part of the commissioning process, allowing us to consider not only colour and texture, but suitability, durability and how each material contributes to the finished piece.

Once a commission has been appointed, a KIRSANOV project manager will contact you at a pre-agreed time to develop the design intent, discuss the available options and arrange appropriate samples and swatches for your consideration.

This ensures that material choices are made in the context of the furniture being created, with access to a far broader selection than any conventional sample catalogue could reasonably represent.

Our approach is simple: we are not limited to what happens to be in a swatch book. We begin with what you want, and work to find the right material for it.
