Evora Split Dresser
A deliberate, slight departure from the core Quinta form. The Evora Split Dresser is based on a late-eighteenth-century Portuguese piece that had remained functional for close to 250 years alongside the original Evora Buffet Table. Its survival was the point: useful furniture, made properly, capable of continuing to serve rather than simply being preserved.
Description
Handmade as two complementary elements: a lower dresser with drawers and enclosed storage, and a separate wall-mounted plate rack above. The form is more vernacular than the principal Quinta pieces, but shares their emphasis on timber, craftsmanship and long-term usefulness.
