Regency Morning Chair
An elegant Regency-inspired morning chair in warm-finished teak, with a broad scroll-ended crest, sweeping arms and a gently curved back upholstered in a richly coloured botanical paisley. Designed for relaxed reading, conversation or an informal corner of the drawing room.
Description
With its high, gently concave crest rail, rolled terminals and scroll-ended upholstered arms, the chair takes its character from early nineteenth-century British Regency furniture. Clean, tapered front legs and splayed rear legs provide a light counterpoint to the generously upholstered seat and back. The paisley fabric shown is a proposed upholstery option, and alternative fabrics may be developed for the individual commission.
Historical Reference
Inspired by British Regency furniture of approximately 1811–1820, with design influences extending into the early nineteenth century. A newly made KIRSANOV interpretation rather than a period antique.
