Quinta

The Quinta family began with a Portuguese buffet table. Made in rich rosewood, with its distinctive turned legs and rhythmic spindles, the original had an extraordinary quality: for almost three centuries it had belonged wherever it was placed.

Rather than reproduce the table, we took its underlying language — the warmth of the timber, the repetition of turned forms, its generous proportions and quiet architectural presence — and extrapolated it into a complete family of furniture.

Tables, seating, cabinets, consoles and occasional pieces share the same vocabulary without becoming a matching suite. Each is designed to stand comfortably alone, while retaining an unmistakable family resemblance.

Quinta is our interpretation of what made the original so enduring: furniture with enough character to be noticed, and enough restraint to live gracefully through changing rooms, tastes and generations.
